This is designed on 22 ct. fabric for a 4" frame. However, If you prefer a larger fabric count just remember that your cross stitch will increase in size as your fabric squares increase in size. Your pattern will include suggested floss colors and will be in represented in symbols over colors on a numbered grid. Regular full cross stitches, a few 3/4 stitches, and back stitches are required in this pattern. Coversheet included.

  • Tip:

    For figuring out what hoop size to use based on the preferred count of your stitching fabric:
    A 4" hoop has approximately 3.75" of workable surface area as measured from inside the inner hoop. 22 ct fabric has 22 stitches per inch, so 3.75 x 22 = 82.5 workable stitches for a 4" inch hoop.
    If you want to use 14 count fabric, then multipy the number of stitches in your design x 14. The result is the approximate inches of work surface you will need. Always round up to a larger size hoop if the result is equal or greater than the measurement of the inner ring of your embroidery hoop!
