Celebrate the pagan sabbat of Imbolc by stitching this festive cross-stitch pattern. It features the goddess Brigid and a mid-winter poem and chant. You will download the full color PDF pattern and cover sheet which includes embroidery floss color suggestions and is represented in symbols. This motif was designed on 40 ct. linen (20 stitches per inch) and measures 3 1/4 x 4 1/2" inches for a 5" x 7"  frame. It is approximately 65 x 90 stitches.  If you prefer a larger fabric count just remember that your cross stitch will increase in size as your fabric squares increase in size.  Regular full cross stitches and a few 3/4 stitches, French knots, and back stitches are required.
