This Celtic, Wiccan-inspired design features a primitive-style maypole, a goddess holding a Beltane fire, and a Beltane chant. Stitching this pattern is a great way to bring some ancient magic and symbolism into your home. Your downloaded chart will be represented in symbols and colors on a numbered grid with DMC embroidery floss color suggestions.  It was originally designed on 40 ct. linen (20 stitches per inch) and measures 3 1/4 x 4 1/2" inches for a 5" x 7" frame. It is approximately 65 x 90 stitches. Regular full cross stitches and a few 3/4 stitches, French knots, and back stitches are required.
