The original artwork is "antiqued" to give the appearance of an authentic peeling old painted wood sign and is then printed in UV resistant inks and sealed onto a 1/4 " inch thick wooden plaque. If you would like to hang this on a fence outside, choose the outdoor finish and I will apply several layers of spar varnish - a weather and UV protecting varnish that is designed for marine applications.
